Fostering CHANGE-MAKERS for Inclusion & Equality:
Professional Training in the Aid and Development Sector

Are you looking to expand your skills in development work, create greater impact and network with similarly-minded people…whilst also helping those at the community level?

THRIVE FOR CHANGE is an innovative training and capacity-strengthening platform dedicated to empowering aid and development practitioners, with a strong emphasis on gender equality, inclusion, and transformative social change. Alongside training, THRIVE provides gender-focused research, evaluations, and advisory support to organisations seeking to strengthen gender-responsive and inclusive approaches within projects and programmes.

The organisation works to enhance the skills, knowledge, and practices of development workers and institutions in areas including gender and development, social entrepreneurship, participatory research methods, leadership, and community-driven development. THRIVE also promotes women’s networking, mentorship, and exchange, supporting women as leaders and change-makers within their communities and professional sectors.

In collaboration with local partners, THRIVE delivers regional leadership training for women at county level and conducts outreach initiatives with marginalised refugee women in Nairobi. Through these initiatives, women are supported as local change agents who can foster peer-to-peer learning, community empowerment, and inclusive development practices.
